As a counselor, I bring a unique perspective shaped by my diverse personal and professional experiences. I see healing, peace, and clarity when we are willing to understand our unique human complexities. I believe that everyone is capable of transformation, no matter where they begin.

Outside of my role as a counselor, I am an empathic presence, passionate about growth and understanding, and an advocate for deep human connection. I also find joy in the little things – playing games with my son, experimenting with paint and watercolor, indulging in a good book, or spending quality time with my husband. These moments of connection and creativity bring balance and peace to my life, and I bring that same sense of mindfulness and presence into my work with clients.

Professional Experience and Credentials
I hold a Master's in Health Administration, a Bachelor's in Nursing, and a Bachelor's in Natural Science, all of which have provided me with a solid foundation in healthcare and holistic well-being. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, I've had the privilege of working in various settings where I've gained deep insights into the complex relationship between physical and mental health. I am pursuing my Master's in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling at MidAmerica Nazarene University, where I am expanding my knowledge and training. Continuing my education is enriching my ability to work with individuals, couples, and families in a way that acknowledges their various and unique needs. My professional path has been shaped by my understanding of health as an interconnected mental, physical, and emotional system. I've witnessed firsthand how suffering can affect all aspects of a person's life, and I strive to help clients navigate and heal from this interconnected pain.

Who I Work With
I work with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life, providing a safe space for healing, growth, and connection. My practice is inclusive and focused on helping people navigate the challenges they face in their personal and professional lives. I am especially interested in working with individuals in helping professions – including counselors, teachers, nurses, doctors, EMTs, firefighters, police officers, and other first responders – who often carry the weight of emotionally demanding work. The experiences and traumas that come with these professions can profoundly affect individuals and their family systems. I'm committed to supporting these professionals in processing their unique challenges and helping them maintain balance and resilience at work and home.
My Approach
As a therapist, I bring a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative approach to our work. I aim to create a space where you feel heard and understood while holding space for compassion and honesty. It's important to me that you feel empowered in your journey.

My Vision
I believe in the power of connection and growth and that everyone has the potential for transformation, no matter where they start. My goal is to help you find healing, clarity, and balance as we navigate the complexities of your life together. I bring warmth, compassion, and humor to create a space where you feel empowered, supported, and understood. Whether addressing personal struggles or professional challenges, I am here to help you rediscover your resilience and achieve lasting change.

Enough.
These few words are enough.
If not these words, this breath.
If not this breath, this sitting here.
This opening to life we have refused again and again until now.
Until now.
